Grouse Parks | Wanted: April 2014

Boy what a fun season 2013/2014 turned out to be! Ring in the last days of riding with some good ol'fashion spring boarding. To have you better prepared for the sun, here is the April's wanted list, starting out with a pair of proper Bib pants from Travis Rice at Quiksilver. Top off your head with a cyclops trucker hat from Poler Stuff and a slab of sport sunscreen from Badger. Tuk'in a Saturdays Angus shirt and pull up your Jed Anderson, Howl gloves over your sleeves so no snow gets in. Once you have your outfit all sorted pack a picnic for you and your friends in the trusty Yeti. Don't forget to bring up your disposable camera to capture some good times and lastly, save your eyes with some glasses from SALT eyewear.    That's all for now, have fun kids. - Caley V

The season is in full swing and that means it’s time to get radical. Next help yourself to some Made in America outerwear from Owner Operator.  Pair your kit with some Ashbury Goggles and Hestra Guide Gloves to keep your extremities dry. Stay radical on a Spring Break Snowboard equipped with crab grabs (which are almost better then bindings). Lastly, pick up a solar powered goal zero because you never know when you will need to recharge.

Grouse Parks | Wanted: February 2014

Wanted February- Caley Vanular

#ITSFINALLYSNOWINGFEBRUARY. This month has been insane for snow in British Columbia. With powder on the brain, it’s time to rethink your gear selection. This February update your kit with the Torah Bright Luminous Jacket from Roxy and this sweet Clark II hat from Brixton. With all the snow you will be boarding it is essential to have the right pants. Don’t waist your time tucking in your shirt when you could be chillin’ in the Glisten Bib from Roxy. Once you have your pants on, grab some Celtek Calypso gloves and a pair of  Wonderland glasses for the apré scene. Stop complaining about pressure points and heavy boards, switch over to new bindings, now and while you are at it try out some new snowboard shapes like this women’s tapered directional from Nitro.

Have fun in the mountains!
